ShopLi, the eCommerce specialists, made their debut at this year’s Business Fair at the International Convention Centre, Durban. The city of Durban was introduced to ShopLi, a new innovative company which looks to help small, medium and large businesses grow by taking their business to the next level. The 16th -18th of October introduced business entrepreneurs to the online world, with the Durban Business Fair’s theme being “Take your Business Global.”

eCommerce is BIG Business and is the best way to take your business international! It has since come a long way globally – last year the industry globally accounted for $1.5 trillion in sales, and it is expected to top $2 trillion by the end of 2015. In South Africa, R6 – 7 billion has been spent online, and is growing at a rate of between 25 and 35% year-on-year.

Stats and research have shown us that more people are buying online everyday; however developing an eCommerce site can be expensive and also daunting if you are technologically challenged. ShopLi was founded so that we could help small, medium and large businesses sell more products and services and make more money! The Internet has made the world extremely small and physical location is no longer a barrier to starting a small business. The virtual world has created a whole new pool of potential customers. Entrepreneurs are now taking retail online as an alternative to the traditional brick and mortar business, lowering start up costs enabling entrepreneurs to reach more people. ShopLi has 13 years experience in web development and is revolutionizing the way businesses operate in South Africa by taking the hassle out of eCommerce.
